For the new year, Toyota is releasing a brand-new SUV called the Toyota Crown Signia. This refreshingly bold crossover will replace the Venza as Toyota's new mid-size model. What to Know About the Toyota Crown Signia
The Crown Signia's exterior is special, offering slanted headlights, a bold front grille, and 21-inch wheels. The interior is even more unique, offering upscale materials for a comfortable and lavish driving experience for five.
Every trim will also be powered by the same powertrain – a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors. With this setup, the Signia receives all-wheel drive, 243 horsepower, and an estimated 36 mpg combined. It even gets about 2,700 pounds of towing strength.
Make your way into the cabin, and the Signia offers a large 12.3-inch touchscreen and digital gauge. The touchscreen will feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, a voice assistant, and Wi-Fi. The base model will be equipped with a six-speaker stereo, though an 11-speaker stereo by JBL is in the Limited trim.
Additionally, all Signia models will feature a slew of advanced driver-aids, most of which are standard. The standard features include automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist. A 360-degree parking camera, front cross-traffic alert, and lane change assist are also available. However, these are only offered in the optional Tech package for the Limited trim.
