Toyota has always been known for its reliable rides thanks to sophisticated designs and durable materials. But these merely help when a collision occurs. To help prevent collisions, Toyota has Toyota Safety Sense (TSS). Safety Sense is a collection of features that act independently to ensure you and those around you stay safe. Features Available in Toyota Safety Sense

Here's a quick breakdown of several TSS features in Toyota models.

Pre-Collision & Pedestrian Detection: This system monitors events in front of you to detect vehicles that have rapidly slowed or stopped. It even detects crossing pedestrians. When activated, the system automatically applies the brakes to avoid or mitigate an accident.

Lane Departure Warning & Steering Assist: Should you accidentally stray too far from your current lane, this system will steer you back in place.

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control: This addition can automatically slow/speed up to maintain a set distance from the vehicle ahead of you. This alleviates the need to constantly switch between the accelerator and brake.

Road Sign Assist: Never miss important road signs again. Road Sign Assist detects the signs for you and displays them on the instrument panel.
