When it arrives later this year, the GR Corolla will be offered in two trims, the Core and Circuit Edition. Each trim will be equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine attached to an advanced all-wheel-drive system. This engine will be able to output 300 horsepower and 273 pounds of torque.
To improve its weight and reduce drag, the rear seat was removed. as were the rear window regulators. A pair of stabilizer bars was added to stiffen the chassis.
